WCCIMA hosted a virtual Tax Law Workshop Webinar on 19 February 2026 to help women-led businesses navigate the new tax landscape.
The Women Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (WCCIMA) held the session on Thursday, 19 February 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, giving business owners a practical look at how recent economic and legislative reforms affect the way they operate, grow and plan. With tax rules shifting, many entrepreneurs risk building their businesses without a clear picture of their obligations, and the workshop set out to close that gap.
What the session covered
- Understanding the reforms: how recent legislative changes affect businesses in different sectors.
- Protecting profit: strategic compliance, including how to avoid unnecessary penalties and manage tax positions more effectively.
- Planning for the long term: using financial clarity as a tool for sustainable growth and leadership, rather than only coping with tax season.
The webinar is part of WCCIMA’s wider work to equip women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, networks and resources they need to build resilient businesses. By hosting sessions like this online, the Chamber reaches women across the country, wherever they are based.
